Indian Coast Guard CGEPT 02/2025 Recruitment – Navik (GD & DB) Notification

Join the Indian Coast Guard as Navik (General Duty) or Navik (Domestic Branch) through the CGEPT 02/2025 batch.

The Indian Coast Guard, under the Ministry of Defence, invites online applications from eligible male Indian citizens for the positions of Navik (General Duty) and Navik (Domestic Branch). The application window is open from 11 February 2025 (11:00 hrs) to 25 February 2025 (23:30 hrs).

Eligibility Criteria:

Navik (General Duty): 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by COBSE.
Age Limit: 18 to 22 years as of 01 September 2025. Candidates should be born between 01 Sep 2003 and 31 Aug 2007 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Navik (General Duty): 260 posts
Navik (Domestic Branch): 40 posts

Selection Process: The selection comprises four stages:

Stage I: Computer-Based Examination
Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Document Verification
Stage III: Medical Examination
Stage IV: Final Document Verification and Submission

Identity verification through biometric data and live image capture will be conducted at various stages of the selection process.
